Export Tool Kit: Preparing Exporter
You've determined that exporting is the natural next step for your company. You have:
- the finances in place
- the human resources and skills within your firm
- the capacity to meet the increased demand, and
- your product or service is ready for the export market
In addition, you have identified your target market, and completed an Export Marketing Plan to support this initiative.
An Export Marketing Plan identifies that you have:
- thought through the reasons to export
- conducted a diagnostic of your company
- conducted a diagnostic of your industry
You must be able to clearly communicate this information, plus your market entry strategy, and have assessed the risks involved in the initiative.
