Education in the Province of Alberta
In Alberta, education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 (primary and secondary education - generally ages 6-18) is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education.
Post-secondary education, including universities, colleges and technical institutions, is the responsibility of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Technology.
