About Productivity Alberta
Our Vision
Alberta is known as the most innovative and productive region in the world.
Productivity and Alberta
Alberta possesses a diversified, strong, and resilient economy.
The manufacturing, financial, health, and other services sectors are all increasing in stature and importance in the Alberta economy, but there are challenges posed to these industries. Some of the challenges are unique to a particular sector, while others are common to all companies.
While there is no silver bullet to solve the myriad challenges, productivity and innovation improvements by Alberta industry can help mitigate the effects.
The good news for industry is that improving your productivity and innovation is not necessarily expensive, time-consuming, or overly difficult. However, it takes a commitment to identifying areas for improvement, working toward the improvement, and maintaining the improvements over time.
The Alberta government is ready to work with industry on improving productivity and innovation in the province. We’re working together to ask the right questions and find the right solutions at the right time.
