Alberta's Agriculture and Agri-Food in Mexico

Alberta's agri-food industry is export focused and known world wide for high standard quality products. Alberta International and Intergovernmental Relations' (IIR) Agriculture and Food Branch identifies market opportunities and serves as a catalyst between Alberta suppliers and buyers in our export markets.

Mexico is Alberta's third largest export market for agri-food products in terms of value. In 2004, Alberta exported CDN$484 million of agri-food products to Mexico, including:
