International Qualifications Assessment Service

What can the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) do?

The International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) can help individuals obtain recognition for the education they received outside of Canada.

IQAS issues assessment certificates that show how educational credentials from other countries compare to educational standards in Canada.

Who uses IQAS?

IQAS is used by individuals looking for recognition of their out of country credentials, as well as by professional licensing bodies, educational institutions, and employers.

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) may request a Provincial Nominee Candidate to submit proof of an IQAS assessment.
