Accreditation will be granted only to media on assignment for a recognized media outlet. Assignment editor, director or producer information must be included on this form. Freelance media are asked to include [by fax] a signed letter of assignment on the assigning organization's letterhead.

On–site media room:

The Beatty Room – Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel

Media are welcome to file from a limited number of workspaces and telephones in the media room. The media room will be a working area reserved for media to receive accreditation, collect information and set up interviews. It may also be used by participants or speakers to schedule media availability or news conferences.

Accommodation:

Media must make their own accommodation arrangements. Due to limited room availability, you are advised to book your accommodation as soon as possible. For additional information on lodging in Banff; visit:

Media Access:

With a few exceptions, media access to facilities and participants is welcome.

For evening keynote addresses, pool cameras have been arranged to provide a feed of the master mix. Media can receive either mike or line level audio feed but should allow for their own cables. Most other sessions will have audio feed available.
