Inventory of major projects

Major Projects Inventory report cover

Inventory of Major Alberta Projects - December 2011 (PDF)

The Inventory of Major Projects list is produced by Alberta Treasury Board and Enterprise to assist firms in identifying potential supply opportunities. It lists projects in Alberta valued at $5 million or greater that are planned, underway, or have recently been completed. Project data is obtained from public information sources. Where possible, this data has been verified with the project proponent/developer. However, users of the Inventory may wish to confirm project data with the proponent/developer.

While efforts have been made to obtain the most recent information, it should be noted that projects are constantly being re-evaluated by industry. Although the Inventory attempts to be as comprehensive as possible, some information may not be available at the time of printing, or not published due to reasons of confidentiality.

  • This Inventory lists projects in Alberta, valued at $5 million or greater, that have recently been completed, are currently under construction, or are proposed to start construction within two years. Not all projects over this threshold are listed, due to reasons of confidentiality and/or due to information not being available at the time of printing.
