Energy commodities
Alberta is Canada’s energy province. The province’s diverse resource portfolio includes coal, electricity, minerals, natural gas, conventional oil, petrochemicals, and the famous Alberta oil sands. The energy industry provides tremendous opportunities for companies involved in the extraction and processing of Alberta’s energy resources as well as for supporting companies involved in business management, consulting, information technology and communications, and manufacturing.
As world leaders in many aspects of energy development, Alberta companies and organizations have the knowledge to help other countries increase their efficiency and reduce costs.
